The film "Lolo" (2019), dir. Michał Piotrowski with cinematography by Fryderyk Potoczek produced at the Kieślowski Film School received the Mimi Derba award for Best Silent Short Film during the 6th edition of the Festival Internacional de Cine Silente México. The production managers of the awarded film were: Agata Jarmułowicz and Aleksandra Kubisa.

This year's jury included, among others Rossella Bergo and Iacopo Di Girolamo. In the justification of the juror Iacopo Di Girolamo we read, among others:

“The best short film of the contest, without a shadow of a doubt. The direction, costume design, makeup, interiors design, good cast, performances, músic, photography and, above it all, the script: everything’s perfect.”

"Lolo" is a steampunk story about where role swaps can lead. The title character is a cleaner who gets a chance to see what the world looks like from a completely different perspective.
