02.02.2022

This year, participants have the opportunity to create advertising films, music videos, films for TikTok and audioseries. Applications are accepted until February 28.

This year, there are as many as 5 categories in the competition. In Branded Stories, in which advertising films for brands will be made, creators will be able to create productions for AGH, Amica, DPD, Onet, Philips OneBlade, Porsche and Żabka. In the Music Stories category, this time there will be music videos for musicians from Def Jam, such as Paulina Przybysz and DJ BRK, as well as IGO from Iglo Records. For the first time, foreign artists will also be included in this category - from the Czech Republic (Hellwana) and Spain (Jansky). In both categories, the finalists will receive 18,000 PLN financial support for the production of films and music videos as well as the help of mentors.

The Papaya Young Creators competition will also include new challenges. For the first time in the history of the competition, TikTok application will appear. Two subcategories will debut in the new edition of the competition - TikTok Branded Stories and TikTok Unique Stories. Participants will interpret various topics as a part of the creative starters. The answer to the competition briefs may be an idea for an advertisement using the TikTok media space (TikTok Branded Stories subcategory) or a ready-made film presenting the issue of diversity and inclusiveness (TikTok Unique Stories).

As a result of joining forces of Papaya.Rocks and Audioteka, a new category was created - Audio Stories. It will select the best ideas for an audio story. Audio Stories is for everyone who wants to present to the world an interesting concept of a sound story. It will select the best ideas, written in the form of an audio concept, stories that will compete for the chance to be produced by Audioteka, and then distributed and promoted by Audioteka and Papaya.Rocks.

To take part in the competition, you need to create an account in the Participant Panel at www.papayayoungcreators.com, read Creative Starters, and then describe the idea and use the Panel to upload the work to the system. Works can be submitted solo or in duets. Applications are open until February 28.
