Filmmakers Europe and Kieślowski Film School to Hold a Panel Discussion on the Craft of Casting

We extend you a warm invitation to participate in a panel discussion titled "How a Casting Director Reads a Script", organized by Filmmakers Europe in collaboration with the Kieślowski Film School. The event is slated for October 6, 2023, as part of the 39th Warsaw Film Festival and Warsaw Next.

The panel will focus on the art and method of casting in the world of cinema, placing emphasis on the role of casting directors in bringing stories to life on the big screen.

The panelists, Timka Grin, Cassandra Han, Ewa Brodzka, and Paulina Krajnik, will shed light on how casting directors approach scripts, decoding the creative aspects involved in this process. Dr. Anna Huth, lecturer at Kieślowski Film School, will serve as the moderator for the event.

Event participation is free of charge. Accreditation for WFF is not required.
