In his work, he pays special attention to contemporary vanitative symbolism, describing the world of animate and inanimate matter that surrounds us. He describes his paintings with the term Cybergraphy, because as a result of a number of modifications they have lost the features of classical photography. He presents his artistic projects in the form of large-format photorealistic prints and in the form of sono-visual compositions, where sound next to the image is an equal means of expression.

For many years, Ryszard Czernow has also been involved in graphic design. His very subjective photography plays a special role in his projects. He is a creator of posters for many feature films, including such directors as: Krzysztof Zanussi, Agnieszka Holland, Feliks Falk, Jan Jakub Kolski, Jan Kidawa-Błoński and to theatrical performances at the Juliusz Słowacki Theater in Krakow, etc.

As a director and cinematographer, he has also made a number of music videos for cult Polish music groups and performers, such as: "Republika", "Dżem", "Golec uOrkiestra", Irek Dudek, Andrzej Rybińskiego, Stachursky-ego, etc.
