Anna Huth

In 2009 she received a Master's degree in political science with honors from the Rector of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Silesia, where she also received her PhD title in 2019. She graduated a 9-month professional training programme focussed on 21st-century film markets: sales, distribution, curatorship, marketing and audience engagement at the Film and Television Academy in Berlin DFFB. Since 2011 she is associated with the Faculty of Radio and Television, where she works as an assistant professor and a university teacher.

She participated in several internships and study visits, including Schiller University in Jena, Germany, Fachhochschule Nordhausen, Germany, the University of Salamanca, Spain, the University of Humanities and Technology Lusófona in Lisbon, Portugal, the Compultense University in Madrid, Spain.\
Thanks to the KAAD scholarship she initiated and carried out an international research project "Junge und neue Medien. Der Einfluss des sozioökonomischen Status auf die Nutzung durch neuer Medien in Polen und Jugendliche in Deutschland" in cooperation with the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, Germany.

In 2015 she received a scholarship for a coaching program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Warsaw, and as a result, she went to the University of Lund in Sweden.

She publishes in Polish, English and German.
