Ernest Wilde

He graduated in Philology at the University of Silesia in 1978. Film expert of choice, since 1979 he has been working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Radio and Television, where he served and currently serves as a deputy dean. It is his calling to be a passionate reader, a lover of classical music and Shakespeare, he is also interested in psychoanalysis (Freud and Lacan), Hebrew and Hellenistic sources of Western culture, the Italian Renaissance and the history of mathematics. He speaks French and English, reads in Italian and Spanish.

Apart from the Faculty of Radio and Television he taught in cultural studies at the University of Silesia and film studies at the Jagiellonian University, an intern at the Institute of Philosophy at the Warsaw University, scholarship in the Universita del Sacro Cuore in Milan. Author of several publications in film studies.

Repeatedly awarded the Prize of the Rector of the University of Silesia for his educational and organizational achievements, three times nominated for the Student Laurel.
