Renata Szymonek

She studied Technique of underground mining at the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Kraków, where in 1989 she received a title of a mining engineer. Due to the difficulty of finding an employment in her profession, she was hired as an accountant in a small private company. In 2004 she graduated from the University of Economics in Katowice in accounting and then in 2010 she completed her Master's studies. She holds an Accounting Certificate awarded by the Minister of Finance. Since 2014 she has been running an accounting office.

Associated with the University of Silesia since 2007. During her classes she shares with the students her professional knowledge in accounting.

Her professional life she devoted to accounting small businesses and non-profit organizations. Since several years she’s an accountant of the Upper Silesian Association and Youth Football Club "Górnik" Zabrze, where she is also as a board member.
