The Main Competition is the essence and the most important part of the Opolskie Lamy Film Festival. Short films made by students and graduates of film schools, as well as film-related courses, take part in it. For many years, the Opole festival has been giving young artists from all over Poland the opportunity to present their skills to a wider audience. Thanks to hundreds of short film submissions, the festival jury (composed of organizers and professional filmmakers) can determine what trends are emerging in Polish cinema in the field of animation, documentary and fiction.
