
Rafał Milach – Polish photographer, visual artist, and lecturer, member of Magnum Photos agency. His work explores mechanisms of propaganda, control, and power in Central and Eastern European countries. A recipient of numerous prestigious awards, he is a co-founder of the collectives Sputnik Photos and the Archive of Public Protests. His works are part of major art collections around the world.

Opening the festival, the exhibition simply titled "Migration is life" poses questions about the place of the individual in a world of borders, economic pressures, and hopes for a better life. Among the participants is Rafał Milach / A.P.P., documenting protests against brutal migration policies in Poland.
