Two awards for Beware of Good Dog at the Hommage à Kieslowski Film Festival!

The film received the Special Prize of Maria Kieślowska and the Audience Award, granted for the very first time in the festival’s history!

Stepan regularly takes in old dogs from the shelter, who spend their final days under his care. It is his own way of coming to terms with death. He dreams of dying in peace, even during the war in Ukraine. But peace is a privilege stolen by a young boy, Gogo. What happens when two enemies of different ages, yet equally lonely, meet at the cemetery at night? They light up joints, eat ice cream, and dance.

The festival also recognized the film Bloodline directed by Wojciech Węglarz, in which our students Radosław Moszczak and Michał Szymański took part. The film received the Special Award of the Polish Filmmakers Association!
