Exhibition opening featuring our student Marcin Gołąb – you are warmly invited!

18.09.2025

We are delighted to announce that Marcin Gołąb, a student of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice, has co-created the exhibition Mould by Agnieszka Mastalerz.

The opening takes place today, 18 September 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Fort Institute of Photography in Warsaw, as part of Warsaw Gallery Weekend+.

Mould is the premiere presentation of video works in which Marcin Gołąb served as Director of Photography. The films explore the transformation of matter, the encounter of body and machine, and the confrontation between organic and mechanical rhythm. One of the works, Mould, was shot on 35mm film and projected from an analog projector—a monumental 300-kilogram device that itself becomes part of the exhibition experience. In the parallel projection Ὁδός, viewers witness the transformations of inorganic matter—metallic alloys, thermal energy, and paradoxical vitality.

The works were created with the support of the “Young Poland” scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and with the patronage of LaSquadra in Katowice.

📍 Venue: Fort Institute of Photography, 6 Wł. Szpilmana St., Building 4, Warsaw
🗓 Exhibition runs until 16 November 2025

We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition!
