Złote Lwy for Piotr Domalewski for directing The Altar Boys!

The Grand Prize of this year’s Polish Feature Film Festival was awarded to director Piotr Domalewski and producers Leszek Bodzak, Aneta Hickinbotham, Piotr Walter, and Jarosław Jakubiec.

Huge congratulations to our alumni and current faculty — Piotr Domalewski and Aneta Hickinbotham!

But that’s not all! We have even more reasons to be proud.

🏆 Individual Award for the screenplay of The Altar Boys went to Piotr Domalewski.

Additionally, The Altar Boys were honored with several non-regulation awards, including:

✨ Award of Polish Film Festivals and Screenings Abroad

✨ Golden Kangaroo Award

✨ Award of the Association of Art House Cinemas

✨ Radio Gdańsk Award “Golden Clapper”

🏆 The Lucjan Bokińca Award for Best Short Film was awarded to our alumnus, Mikołaj Piszczan, for directing SLAP!!.

🏆 Among the awarded alumni was also Kordian Kądziela, whose feature film Larp. Miłość, trolle i inne questy received the non-regulation Young Jury Award.

🏅 In the Short Film Competition, the short Dad’s Not Home directed by our student Jan Saczek received a distinction.
