We are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Creator and Material” by Samanta Stochla, a member of our administrative staff.
“Creator and Material” is a story about the artist’s relationship with matter — about a creative process that begins with the meeting of hand and clay and unfolds through a mindful dialogue between intention and the material’s response. The presented ceramic objects do not aim for literalness or unambiguous meanings. They balance between functional and sculptural forms, between control and chance.
Light plays a significant role in the exhibition. It penetrates the forms, reveals their interiors, textures, and surface rhythms. As a result, the works remain open to changes in space, time, and the viewer’s presence, inviting calm and attentive observation.
