Four shorts produced by Kieślowski Film School at 46. Polish Film Festival in Gdynia

Four films produced at Kieślowski Film School qualified for the Short Film Competition of the 46th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. The festival will be held on September 20-25.

In Gdynia, the following competition screenings will be held:

  • THE NEST (2021) dir. Gracjana Piechula
  • SLAVE (2021) dir. Grzegorz Piekarski
  • DELIVERY (2021) dir. Katarzyna Sikorska
  • THE HERO (2021) dir. Milena Dutkowska

This year, 24 films qualified for the Short Film Competition. Their selection was made by the Artistic Director, Tomasz Kolankiewicz, supported by the recommendation of advisers appointed by him: film expert Diana Dąbrowska and film historian Maciej Gil.

On the other hand, the Main Competition of the 46th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia included 6 films by our school's graduates: "Leave no traces" directed by Jan P. Matuszyński, "Hyacinth" directed by Piotr Domalewski, "Other People" directed by Aleksandra Terpińska, "In Parallel" directed by Dorota Lamparska, "Sonata" directed by Bartosz Blaschke, "Fears" directed by Łukasz Gutt (co-directed by Łukasz Ronduda).
