“Last Days of Summer” by Klaudia Kęska awarded in Marocco

The short film "Last days of summer" (2020), dir. Klaudia Kęska produced by the Kieślowski Film School returns from the 3. Morocco Shorts International Film Festival with an award for the best fiction film.

The film's cinematographer is Kamil Małecki. The production was managed by: Stanisław Bryś, Aleksandra Gajdosz, Ewa Dubiel. The producer of the film is Krystyna Doktorowicz.

"Last Days of Summer" tells the story of a teenage Tosia who faces a difficult moral dilemma - a choice between justice and the protection of loved ones.

The 3. Morocco Shorts International Film Festival was held on June 22-24, 2022 in Rabat under the slogan "Voices of young Africa and the world". The prizes were awarded by the Jury: Rachid Kasmi, Sonia Okacha and Merieme Addou. The festival aims to present young cinema, to connect young filmmakers with Moroccan audiences.

In the competition the audience could also see the short film "Liberty" (2021), dir. Joanna Różniak.
