"Quiver", directed by Joanna Różniak and produced at the Kieślowski Film School, has won the main award, Mayor of the City of Gdańsk Award, at the 31st Euroshorts 2022 Young Filmmakers International Film Festival. The festival had 60 short films from 23 countries competing for prizes. A jury chaired by Dr. Monika Bokiniec awarded the main prize. The award, funded by the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk, is worth PLN 3,000.

Łukasz Łatanik served as the cinematographer for "Quiver". Jakub Lebiedziński handled the production management, and Prof. Michał Rosa supervised the production. The producer of the film is Prof. Krystyna Doktorowicz.

The 31st Euroshorts 2022 Young Filmmakers International Film Festival started on November 28 and lasted until December 4, 2022, in Gdańsk. The festival has the EFFE Label “Remarkable Arts Festival 2022-2023.”

Six etudes produced at the Kieślowski Film School will be presented at the 13th edition of the Festival Internacional de Cinema de Baía Formosa (FINC) in Brazil. The festival will take place December 2–3, 2022, in Baía Formosa. Kieślowski Film School is a partner of the festival.

FINC is considered one of the most important film festivals in the northeast of Brazil. The core of the festival is the competition of 1-minute short films sent from all corners of Brazil. The winner will receive a paid trip to Poland and a presentation of the film at the Off Camera festival in Krakow. The motto of this year’s edition is an attempt to answer the question, “What is your art?” The organizers encourage aspiring filmmakers to think about art in different ways.

Two etudes produced at the Kieślowski Film School have been selected for the 29th Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival. The festival selections comprise 25 films. The event takes place from November 29 to December 4 in Krakow.

The Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival is the oldest film festival in Poland. It brings together the achievements of students of film and art schools from around the world and the accomplishments of fine-art animation filmmakers, including professionals, students, and independent producers.

Prof. Krzysztof Lang, a lecturer at the Kieślowski Film School, has won the award for the Best Feature Film at the 13th Ekran Toronto Polish Film Festival 2022 for the film “March 1968” (2022). The prize was awarded by a jury composed of Ottie Lockey, Larry Anklewicz, Anne Marie Perrault, Paulina Lyskawa, Małgorzata P. Bonikowska, Butch Kaplan, and Katie Uhlmann. Prof. Lang also received the Canadian Polish Business Association Award. The 13th edition of the Toronto Polish Film Festival took place on November 16-20, 2022, in Toronto, Canada.

Ekran Toronto Polish Film Festival is an annual, week-long event dedicated to the promotion of Polish cinematography and film production, focusing on the Canadian Polish community and Canadian filmmakers with Polish roots and heritage. The festival is held at the Revue Cinema, the oldest movie theater in Toronto, located in the heart of Roncesvalles Village.
