39th Moscow International Film Festival Logo

The Moscow International Film Festival is one of the oldest in the world. For the first time it was held in 1935. Festival history is usually traced back to 1959, when it became a regular event.

During this year's 39th edition, its international premiere will have one of the production of the Faculty of Radio and Television. “Come and play with me" was directed by Milena Dutkowska.

T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival Logo

Shortlist is a short list of Polish short films that will be presented at this year's T-Mobile New Horizons festival. Within the section, several young Polish filmmakers have boldly shared their voices and their sensitivity, who are searching for expressive forms of narration, and who have been shaping their personal styles. Among eighteen short stories, documents and animations, there are four etudes produced by the Faculty of Radio and Television Department: Dust dir. Jakub Radej, Gift dir. Sylwia Rosak, The Return dir. Damian Kocur, The Frog King dir. Arkadiusz Biedrzycki.

23rd Palm Springs International ShortFest Logo

The Palm Springs International ShortFest - now in its 23rd year - is the largest short film event in North America. It will start on June 20th.

A highly competitive festival, ShortFest receives 4,200± submissions from over 100 countries around the globe. Approximately 325 shorts are selected and screened in 90-minute themed programs.

During this year's edition of the festival, one of the production of the Faculty of Radio and Television will have its American premiere - "Evil Deeds" directed by Piotr Domalewski.

We have met winners of the 10th International Documentary Film Festival "Okiem Młodych" in Świdnica. The jury awarded five titles out of thirteen that have been qualified for the Main Competition. The jury decided to award the "Golden Eye" Grand Prix to Jakub Radej's Dust for "having the precision of a formal and distant narrative created an alarming, dark picture of the technological process of death."
 
The Jury also honored Sylwia Rosak's Gift. All awarded etudes were produced by the Faculty of Radio and Television University of Silesia in Katowice.

The Oulu International Children's and Youth Film festival is the most anticipated happening in western Finland before Christmas. During this year's 36th edition, viewers in November will see "Evil Deeds" directed by Piotr Domalewski.

The film is the story of a ten-year-old son of a hospital cleaner, who was caught on an attempt to steal a patient's wallet. It was produced by the Faculty of Radio and Television.
