Filmotekaof the Film School Krzysztof Kieślowski‘s library, located on the ground floor, is one of the specialized units that are part of the library and information system operating at the University of Silesia. EVERY STUDENT WHEN REGISTERING TO THE FILM ARCHIVE, YOU MUST HAVE THE INDEX WITH YOU. TO BORROW A STUDENT ID CARD IS NECESSARY.

The Film Library lends books, with the possibility of extending the return date, only to:

• For research and teaching staff of the University of Silesia – up to 50 volumes for a period of 16 months weeks
• Other employees of the University of Silesia – up to 25 volumes for a period of 8 weeks
• Students of the University of Silesia – up to 25 volumes for a period of 8 weeks
• Doctoral students of the University of Silesia – up to 30 volumes for a period of 8 weeks
• University of Silesia postgraduate students – up to 10 volumes for a period of 8 weeks
• Retired employees of the University of Silesia – up to 5 volumes for a period of 8 weeks
• Films for a period of 2 weeks

Untimely return of library materials is subject to a penalty specified in the library regulations.
