Open Days 2024 - we invite candidates for the program: Cinematography and Photography

The Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia invites you to the Open Days! 🎬

Are you passionate about photography? Is cinematography what keeps you awake at night? In plain words - do you dream of becoming a cinematographer? You're in the right place, this post is for you.

We invite candidates for the program in Cinematography and Photography to consult their photographic portfolios. Details below.

📷 Photographic work consultations will take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in our library, admission is on a first-come, first-served basis - no appointments necessary. Candidates wishing to consult their works must have printed versions. Digital photographs will not be reviewed.

The following lecturers from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia will conduct the photo consultations:

👤 Prof. Janusz Musiał, PhD - a photographer, filmmaker, cultural scientist, and author who uses various media (photography, short film form, animation, installation, object, word, web projects) to carry out thematic projects, exhibitions, films, catalogs, and albums. Since December 2023, he has been the director of the Institute of Film and Theatre Arts.

👤 Ryszard Czernow, PhD, Professor at the University of Silesia - a multimedia artist, cinematographer, inventor of the term Cybergraphy, graphic designer. Author of many solo exhibitions, including last year's "Ryszard Czernow Vanitas 2023" at the Silesian Museum.
