To celebrate the milestone of the 100-millionth city bike ride in Poland, together with the urban bike system operator Nextbike Polska, we invite students of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice to take part in a short film concept competition!
Theme: "24 Hours in the Life of a Bicycle" – a creative look at urban mobility in Poland and the GZM Metropolis.
How to participate?
- Form a team (1–8 members)
- Write a short film script (10–12 minutes)
- Fill out the application form (available on the Film School’s website)

Submission deadline: June 30, 2025
- The winning project will receive:
- A production grant of up to 20,000 PLN
- Professional mentorship during the filmmaking process
- One-year free access to the city bike app for all team members
